The Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia will host the 2025 Armenian National Youth Forum from August 5 to 7 in Yerevan.
The forum is being held for the second time. The first forum took place in 2023. This biennial event serves as a platform for youth from Armenia and the Diaspora to exchange ideas, address common challenges.
According to Aram Voskanyan, Advisor to the High Commissioner and co-organizer of the forum, this year’s event will bring together 800 young participants, including 600 from Diaspora communities and 200 from Armenia.
They have received over 1,200 applications. Selection is based on criteria such as community engagement, social activism, and involvement in projects related to Armenia.
He noted that nearly 60% of the applicants will be visiting Armenia for the first time. “This is not just a forum, it’s also a chance for Diaspora Armenian youth to get acquainted with their homeland,” he added.
The forum will be held in interactive formats, including master classes, roundtable discussions, open lectures, and panel sessions. Each day of the forum will focus on a specific theme.
Topics will range from national identity and Armenia-Diaspora relations to the peculiarities of Western and Eastern Armenian.

Discussions will also address opportunities for Diaspora Armenian youth to contribute to Armenia’s development, whether in the public, private, or civil society sectors.
The Armenian National Youth Forum is organized by the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
