Saudi Arabia: PonteSud – Anita Bosman

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced on Thursday the successful completion of the movement of pilgrims to Mount Arafat on the ninth day of Dhul Hijjah, confirming that operations proceeded smoothly and on schedule.

The transfer was conducted under a unified operational model that links service and regulatory agencies through the Joint Operations and Dispatching Center – one of the most notable innovations in this year’s Hajj season.

Pilgrims were transported via modern buses and the Mashair Train, under strict timetables and high security, resulting in an orderly distribution across Arafat camps with no significant congestion.

This effort is part of a comprehensive strategy developed by the ministry to manage pilgrim flow during the 1446 Hajj season.
